Cargo Claim Process
1.If loss/damage |
(1) Duty to Mitigate damage Mitigate the extent of damage, taking all reasonable measures to minimize and prevent further loss or damage. (2) Take remarks on delivery records When goods are delivered from ocean / air carriers, port authorities, customs & inland carriers, take remarks on delivery records at each stage of delivery. 2.Report the loss/ |
1. Report the loss/damage immediately to the Insurers
2. Please send Invoice, Packing List, B/L, photographs by Email. 3. Immediately send claim notice to the carrier and any other responsible parties. Non-Delivery When you find loss, please request the investigation for undelivered cargo against the carrier. If it cannot be found through investigation, a written confirmation of non-delivery (Non-Delivery Certificate) must be obtained from the responsible party in the end. 3.Checking |
(1) A survey will be conducted depending on the damage situation. (2) In some cases where the claim amount is minimal, a survey may not be necessary.
About inspector (surveyor) A specialist who investigates the details of an accident, its cause, damage, etc., from a third-party perspective. If the amount of damage is expected to exceed a certain amount, an inspector (surveyor) will be sent to conduct a survey. Moreover, if there are any points of uncertainty regarding the cause of the accident, time of occurrence, or the like, an inspector may be sent to conduct an on-site investigation regardless of the estimated amount of damage. |

Additionally, if there is a risk of further damage, please take photos of the damaged cargo and proceed with sorting or retouching as necessary.✓
